The Honorable Premier Mxolisi Dukwana went to Kagisho Comprehensive School in Phahameng, Bloemfontein to monitor the start of the 2023 NSC Examinations. A total of 43 000 learners in the province are enrolled for this core subject. Motheo District Director Mr. December Moloi indicated that Kagisho Comprehensive has one of the highest Gr 12 enrollments in the districts; meaning their performance will impact on performance of the District as a whole. “Our target as a district is 95% pass rate and 50% bachelor’s pass”. In his address, the Premier appealed to learners to sacrifice their time and sleep to ensure that they are successful in these exams “Every day we wake up with the opportunity to make a choice. During these exams, make up your mind to succeed, allow nothing to hold you back and break the bill of regret.”
