In partnership with VVOB; 95 teachers, district and provincial staff in the Free State have been trained in Action Research since the year 2021.
VVOB – education for development, is a Belgium-based, non-profit organisation founded in 1982- commissioned to contribute to the quality of education in developing countries!
Action Research is a systematic, reflective approach where individuals or organizations investigate their own practices to identify areas for improvement. It involves planning, acting, observing and reflecting with the aim of bringing about positive changes in your environment.
Today, the teachers and officials who used their research to improve the learning and working environments at their schools and offices, graduated! Above and beyond their day-to-day work, they spent countless hours of their own time to seek solutions.
The success of the Free State province in Education is as a result of partnerships and behind-the-scenes work put in at every level in the sector, thank you and congratulations!
